Dear Blue Star Mothers, 

My name is Corporal Brandon Knight. I have been receiving care packages courtesy of you and your sponsors for some time now so Ifigured it was a good time to write you a thank you letter. I've spent about 9 months on deployment now and I've gotten a package pretty much everywhere I have been. Most importantly Iraq, when every mail call is like Christmas to us Marines. Needless to say I very much appreciate all the hard work, dedication and support you have shown. I would like all the students who volunteered to send things to know that they have put a smile on my face every time I get a package. Its great to see young men and women going the extra mile and showing they care about what the Armed Forces is doing. The toiletries, snacks and letter mean more to us than they could imagine. The Blue Star Mothers organization is a great thing and should continue to send packages to troops deployed. With that I will close. Again thank you very much! Sincerely,
